If you are going to play...than play to win

quick mark that ball before it rolls down the hill...so i start the day with this and the girls ask..."really...do you live in this town"...yes i do and i want to win as much as the next person...no one gets the if you're going to play...play the best you can...play to win mentality more than i do....and yes i live in a crazy metro ny town where win, win, win is the mantra...i don't think it is a brand problem, it is a category issue...money, aa parents and status that is a bit perverted...hell i even got an up-close and personal look at Maserati girl...however i am an adult and i am playing golf with the girls...same wonderful sex and the city country girls that i have been playing with for years...love them and their golf games...and i want to win because it is fun and i like the prize...plus if you are going to blow off work for 6 hours, ditch your kids and tell your husband that you are just to tired for sex than enjoy the privilege of the game and for gods sake play to win...i am an adult the choice is mine...i am playing for real...but the kids...leave them out of this...just as golf season starts so do soccer and baseball team tryouts....yikes...A, B or C team no one from this category is going to play professional ball...yes maybe 1 or 2 a year will play sports in college...hell i did until i realized that the bar, the boys and even my school work were much more fun than the soccer field, the gym and the trainer...but come on...if you want to play to win...either win at work or win at your own games...but don't make your kids your game...they are also a privilege and just because you were not the star athlete of your class...and even if your were...you do not have a right to manipulate your kid and the expense of others in order for them to be on the winning team...A, B, or C has nothing to do with you and how you stack up...make your kid happy...give them confidence do that they want to succeed and they will be winners...push them to win, push other kids aside and your are an adult bully and you kid will eventually suffer...plus your mark on humanity will stink...hunker down, be a great citizen, play for the team...enjoy your teammates like i enjoy the girls...we are a team...and we win as a team because of spirit, trust and mutual effort!!! Great win today girls!!!
